Beth's Prep/Life Update - Week 6

Hey guys! Just wanted to jump on here and say hi! 👋 

 

I know I haven't been on here for a couple weeks. It's been a really busy two weeks. Annnnd I have had writer's block! Ugh! But I am here to tell you that prep is going well. The first three weeks my macros were high and cardio minimal. The next two weeks my macros got HIGHER (what?!) and cardio stayed the same. My weight stayed on average the SAME! But don't you know I definitely had those UPS and downs...and yes I had the same words you give your scale on those UP days and those same thoughts you have of "#ttp" (see my picture below of the crazy ups and downs!) This week, prep is starting to be on the down with macros and cardio went up slightly. However, this down in macros, I am still over 2100 calories and have to reason to bitch or complain, even if I was hungry at the end of day one. Nope, no bitching from me. That scale just better reflect those hunger feelings. 😋 Haha! And it did! And I guarantee I am going to continue to have those UPS and DOWNS. And I am going to trust this process the whole way. 

 

Alex and I have also been really busy on working hard in two jobs and saving money for our first home. Working out all those details have been mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausting. But we are go-getters, no matter what. So whatever we have to do to get what we want, we will. That's one thing I LOVE about our relationship, we are on the same page when it comes to "work hard, play hard". So, if you don't see me on IG/FB/Snap story, I'm likely workin.......

 

I don't really have an educational thing to put in the post this week, but I can give some motivation. Those of you, yes you - MY CLIENTS - that are in the same boat as me in prep, have around the same amount of time for prep, and are also having those UPS and DOWNS in your weight and your mental strength of trusting the process, KNOW THAT WE ARE ALL IN IT. We all experience it. It might be at different times. It might be on different days. BUT GUESS WHAT?! Get over it. It's WEEK 6. And you probably, like me, still have 25 weeks left to go. And you will get there. BUT YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT AND TRUST THE PROCESS. This shit doesn't happen overnight, it doesn't happen in a couple days or a couple of weeks. IT TAKES TIME. So allow it. You can do this. These preps are more than the physical changes, it's also meant to help change/challenge/strengthen your mind, your control, your confidence, your emotional wellbeing, everything. You CAN do this. Just keep grinding and I promise it will come.
